A traditional remittance company was in stagnation. They did not have a consistent engine for acquiring customers nor a product that met their ambition to be digitalized and future ready. There was also deep misconceptions on how sales, marketing, product and customer success worked together. Solution: Develop new customer personas while refining existing ones, performing a full product design programme and developing an acquisition & customer success roadmap. A digital wallet was successfully tested and validated before a complete product was developed. The core customer personas were identified and an accompanying plan for lead generation, engagement and cultivation was implemented. Eight new channels of customer acquisition were developed. The management also gained a deeper understanding of the shape and form the team had to take to acquire and cultivate users.

A small-cap publicly listed property developer in Australia required additional funding to complete several projects. After exhausting their credit lines with banks, alternative sources of funding would have been at a significant premium. Solution: Structure a convertible note and syndicate funds from cornerstone investors. This entailed providing access into partner networks, legal and tax evaluation, market research, a company-wide branding exercise, and crafting communications. The cost of debt was significantly cheaper than the rates quoted by traditional private equity firms and family offices. The structure of the note also injected trading liquidity into the listed company post conversion which is a common challenge for small-cap publicly traded counters.
Go To Market - New Markets Expansion
A European headquarted fintech with significant operations in ANZ were looking for a review of their Go To Market in Australia and New Zealand, how to unlock its competitiveness and a clear plan of how to execute. Solution: A strategic review with the key leadership and contributors was performed to un cover strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Analysis was also conducted around the competitive positioning, customer perception and insights around the market to ensure Product Market Fit. With this critical overview a strategy with clear cross vertical and operational requirement plans were created ready for execution. This was communicated back to the teams with clear outlines and coaching tro execute.
